True to our mission, students from Preschool through Kindergarten participate in many Character Education projects and lessons. They not only include well-known and respected authors’ works, as well as the Fill A Bucket approach but are anchored by the Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds book series written by London Day School Founder, Danielle Lindner.
As our children grow, they will experience situations in their world where having a strong sense of self and care for the well-being of others will help them to make well thought out decisions.
At the London Day School, we foster academically strong students while building strong character. We want our students to exhibit good citizenship toward their peers, family, and those in the community with whom they interact with.
Our program exposes children to the everyday issues and challenges they face as preschoolers and kindergartners. Through our books and activities, children learn important concepts such as caring, sharing, acceptance, empathy, and many more.
Recently the United States’ Department of Education has embraced the importance of Character Education for students in the Elementary and Primary Grades. It is with pleasure that we too embrace such an important program for our students.
In 2015, Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds was turned into a live-action preschool show that can be viewed on Amazon.com Prime.
