At the London Day School, we truly value the experience a child has when they have access to books. The preschool years are some of the most wonderful and scariest times for parents, especially if it’s the first child they are sending to school. I receive a lot of questions from parents, from “How do I handle separation anxiety?” to “What do I do if my child hasn’t seemed to make many friends?”

Laughter… Absolutely the most wonderful, joyous, loud laughter filling the halls, and where was it coming from? A preschool chemistry class. What? How could that be? Were the kids making funny faces? Had someone slipped on a banana peel?

Neither. These happy, hysterical preschoolers were spending the morning at The London Day School learning about polymers with volunteers from BASF.
